50 ml Gold tequila
25 ml triple sec Cointreau
25 ml lime juice
salt for the glass

Shake all the ingredients with cracked ice in shaker. Rum the rim of a cocktail glass with lime juice, and dip in salt. Strain into the glass, and serve.

Origins of the Margarita cocktail date back to the early 30`s of the past century. There are many stories about who invented the margarita and why. First known is Barman “Willie” from Mexico City, who in 1934 made the drink for Marguerite Hemery. She was friends with the owner of the bar, and the bartender mix the drink especially for her, and giving name to this drink for her name – Margarita.
